Winter Mission Trip: New Orleans

February 25th- March 1st, 2026

We are hoping to put a small adult team together to go serve with three goals.

-Assist in the construction of a fence for the missionaries neighbor

-Provide support for the missionary in outreach efforts

-Encourage the Missionary family and their church

Estimated Costs; Covering your own meals and

$300 for housing (or $150 if you share a room)

Summer Mission Trip: North Carolina

July 7th-11th, 2026

We will be teaming up with Antioch Baptist Church and The North Carolina Baptists to do relief and reconstruction work from Hurricane Helene. This is a mission opportunity for all ages.

Total Cost per person: $100

Fall International Mission Trips


Brazil

Date TBD, but sometime in late September/ early October;

Seeking a team of 4-6 to visit the Rigdon family in Brazil to assist with their ministry to the tribes.

Estimated Cost: $2800 for airfare, housing, food.

Peru

Date TBD, sometime in fall during dry season;

Seeking a small dynamic team to visit the Brock family in Peru to assist with construction of the small cabins at basecamp to be able to host additional teams in the future.

Missions Ministry

Our church supports the Southern Baptist International Board of Missions as well as the North American Mission Board.


Additionally, we support several independent missionaries, and these missions provide numerous opportunities for the members of our congregation to go on short-term mission trips every year, both domestically (Kentucky and New Orleans) and internationally (Brazil and Peru).


Local organizations we support include Redemption Point, Hope House, the Women's Enrichment Center, Isaiah 115 House and Freedom Ministries. At our church on the second Saturday of the month, we give away free groceries to families in need. Known as Jones Creek Food Ministry, we partner with other churches.


Our Missions Include:

NAMB Missions, Brock Family (Peru), Building Christian Ministries (BCM), IMB Missions, Jake Kelly (New Guinea), Barry & Vania Hall (Orphanage in Brazil), Justin Haynes Family (New Orleans), Freedom Ministries, Kroneman Family (Indonesia), David & Hannah Mora (Honduras), Project Hope (Brazil), Rigdon Family (Brazil), Pedro Mole & Pinhao, Sergipe (Brazil Church Plants), and local missions Hope House, Womens Enrichment Center, Isaiah 115 House, and Jones Creek Food Ministry, all in Blairsville, GA.
